Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to define the processes and timelines by which personal data collected by Ksheer is deleted, anonymised, or otherwise disposed of — ensuring your data is not retained longer than necessary.
Scope
This policy applies to:
- All personal data collected through the Ksheer app and website.
- Data processed by Ksheer's internal systems and third-party service providers.
- All categories of Users including customers, prospective buyers, and business partners.
- Both automated deletion processes and User-initiated deletion requests.
Types of Data Collected
Ksheer collects personal data including but not limited to: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, device identifiers, transaction history, usage data, and communication preferences. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.
Data Retention Periods
We retain different categories of data for different durations based on their purpose:

| Inactive Account Data | Erased or anonymised after 1 year of inactivity (with 48-hour prior notice) |
User-Initiated Deletion Requests
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. Deletion requests can be submitted through any of the following channels:
- Via the "Delete My Account" option in the Profile section of the Ksheer app.
- By emailing our Data Protection Officer at privacy@dsgroup.com.
- By writing to our registered address (see contact details below).
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will:
- Acknowledge your request within 72 hours.
- Complete the deletion or anonymisation within 30 days, unless a legal obligation requires us to retain certain data.
- Notify you once the deletion process is complete.
Processing of Minor Data
We do not knowingly collect or retain personal data of individuals below the age of 18 years. If such data is discovered:
- It will be deleted immediately upon identification.
- The parent or guardian will be notified where reasonably possible.
- No further processing of such data will occur.
Exemptions
Certain data may be exempt from deletion where retention is required by law or is necessary for:
- Compliance with applicable legal or regulatory obligations (e.g. tax records, audit trails).
- Resolution of ongoing disputes, complaints, or legal proceedings.
- Detection and prevention of fraud or unlawful activity.
In such cases, we will inform you of the exemption and the anticipated retention period.
Logging & Auditing
- All deletion requests and actions are logged with timestamps for audit purposes.
- Logs of deletion activities are retained for a minimum of 3 years and are accessible to our Data Protection Officer for review or regulatory inquiry.
Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually or whenever there is a material change in our data processing practices or applicable law. Updates will be communicated through the Ksheer app and at the same link where this policy is hosted. Continued use of our platform following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
